Week 4 (25 Feb 2019 - 1 Mar 2019)

After  making a draft on the  main objective of the project, problem statement, background and the scope and limitation of the project.  of the project on Week 2, I decided to meet my supervisor and explain to him about my project. Objective: - To design a heart rate device by using pulse sensor. - To develop a clear hearing aid for blind person. - To construct a compact and user friendly casing like adding braille for instruction. Problem Statement: - Blind people cannot measure their heart rate personally. - Heart rate device not specially designed for blind people. - No preparation to check their heart rate. Conclusion: For list of component used and the function of the project, I will meet my supervisor on the other day because many correction has been made on the objective and problem statement.

Week 3 (18 Feb 2019 - 22 Feb 2019)

On Wednesday, 20 February 2019, the first class and meeting of all students taking Final Year Project 1 (FYP 1) was held at the TTL 2. In two hours duration from 3.00PM to 5.00PM, students had given brief introduction of FYP 1. The contents are including: 1. Introduction Lecturer has given a lecture on the FYP introduction and much more input. Students need to know the purpose of  FYP, aim, objective and other content of FYP. 2. Course Outline A handout has been given to all students for their guidance through the semester. Students are allocated with 17 Week of FYP 1 course, and during Week 11 students need to perform their Proposal Defense Presentation. FYP Evaluation       The evaluation including: Logbook / Blog: 30% Proposal Defense Presentation: 35% Project Report Proposal: 35% 4. FYP Generic Title Guide         

Week 2 (11 Feb 2019 - 15 Feb 2019)

The activity during Week 2 related to Week 1. The requirement is students need to explain on their wish list projects. As for me, I had show one project and my supervisor accepts my idea. My idea on final year project is about: A device that can measure heart rate of human Specific for blind people Portable and user friendly I also go through and read some previous and articles related to heart rate device and also the usage for the disabled people such as blinds. Conclusion: As a research has been made, I am making a draft on the main objective of the project, problem statement, background and scope and limitation of the project.

Week 1 (7 Feb 2019- 8 Feb 2019)

During Week 1, every students are required to search a supervisor for Final Year Project. The purpose of having a supervisor is to guide, develop and motivate students for their progress in completing the project. The activities in Week 1 are: Propose a supervisor Plan out some ideas for the project List out some details required such as component, function and uses of the project Conclusion: As activity for Week 1 passed, to conclude that I choose Dr Jawad Ali Shah to be my supervisor. With supervisor's help, students can perform and understand their project successfully.
